We are a boutique Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates studio offering
personalised physiotherapy assessment and treatment, including movement and posture assessment, ergonomic assessment and advice,
pre- and post-natal management with follow-through, and Therapeutic Ultrasound application.
With a combined experience of more than 20 years in clinical private practice, our special interests include assessing and treating lower back pain, acute muscle strains, joint sprains, neck and shoulder pain, prenatal and postnatal conditions, and postural- or work-related muscular aches and pains.
We are able to provide physiotherapy assessment for acute or chronic conditions, postural assessment, dynamic movement and core strength evaluations, soft tissue, trigger point and myofascial release, deep tissue and sports massage, personalised Clinical Pilates program and ergonomic and lifestyle advice.
A thorough assessment of your presenting issue to allow us to understand the underlying factors contributing to your symptoms, thus enabling us to formulate a treatment plan that will address the problems identified in an effective and efficient manner.
This may include a combination of Hands-on techniques (e.g. joint mobilisation, soft/deep tissue massage, trigger point/myofascial release), Exercise therapy (incl Pilates), and Electrophysical modalies (e.g. Ultrasound, TENS, heat/ice.).
1-to-1 Pilates class based on your needs, abilities and desired goals. Exercises are done on custom-built Pilates equipment and is good for improving one's posture, body awareness, movement quality, overall mobility and strength, and core control.
Principal Physiotherapist
In her early years, Cerise trained in classical ballet and gymnastics. This gave her first hand experience of the world of movement, injuries and rehabilitation. Together with her desire for working in the healthcare industry, being a physiotherapist was a natural progression toward making a career out of her interests.
Cerise graduated from Curtin University (Australia) in 2012 and has worked in public and private practices both locally and abroad. She is certified in Polestar Pilates (Rehabilitation) and loves integrating clinical pilates into her work. She works with clients in the areas of back/neck pain, posture issues, pre/postnatal and scoliosis; strongly believing in addressing the underlying causes of their issues rather than simply providing symptom relief.
In her spare time, Cerise enjoys trying out recipes for healthy cooking & baking, and spending time with her husband, Max, and their daughter.
